2SLGBTQIA+ Action Plan Survey

We value your voice and want to hear from you!

On behalf of the Government of Nova Scotia, the Office of Equity and Anti-Racism is conducting a public survey to engage with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to inform the development of Nova Scotia's first provincial action plan for 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This plan will seek to address the needs identified by the community through government actions, specifically through our programs and services.

This survey invites you to self-identify and share your personal experiences, perspectives, and suggestions. We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all participants, and your responses will remain anonymous and confidential. Most importantly, we want to acknowledge that discussing personal experiences as a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ can be triggering and cause emotional or psychological distress. If you feel uncomfortable or distressed while answering the questions, please remember that your well-being is our utmost priority. You can choose not to answer any of the questions asked if you prefer not to answer.

By continuing with the survey, you have read and understood this trigger risk and are prepared to proceed. If you require immediate support or assistance, we encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend, family member or a helpline in your area. Resources for support can also be found here at prideHealth or Nova Scotia’s mental health resources.

Your time and input are greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, you can contact us. Thank you for being part of this important conversation. Together, we can work towards a more inclusive and equitable Nova Scotia for everyone.
